The official opening of SSA’s home cricket field marked a major milestone for community cricket in South Calgary. The event welcomed 100+ attendees from over 70 families and featured a special women’s opening match with 30+ women participants, highlighting SSA’s commitment to inclusion and community-driven sport.

The Battle of South tournament brought together 5 teams and over 75 players from South Calgary. Hosting matches within the neighborhood allowed players to compete locally on a dedicated cricket pitch, saving time and resources while strengthening local sporting ties.
