DESCRIPTION:15 April 2025 \nSSA representatives participated in a strategic roundtable session with the City of Calgary – Recreation & Social Programs team to discuss facility planning\, collaboration opportunities\, and the long-term sustainability of community cricket initiatives. \nThe discussion explored ways to strengthen alignment between municipal recreation planning and the growing needs of grassroots cricket in South Calgary. Shared priorities included improving access to suitable playing spaces\, supporting program expansion\, and enhancing community sport participation. \nThe session reinforced SSA’s collaborative partnership with the City of Calgary and its commitment to building sustainable\, accessible cricket programs for the local community.
