Building on the success of the Spring edition, the SPL Summer Member Tournament returned bigger and better, expanding to four teams in response to growing member enthusiasm.

One of the most special aspects of the tournament was its intergenerational format, with youth players competing alongside — and against — their parents. The matches blended spirited competition with family connection, giving young cricketers the chance to experience a higher level of play while sharing the field with experienced players.

True to the inclusive spirit of SPL events, every participant was guaranteed the opportunity to bat and contribute, ensuring meaningful involvement for all skill levels and ages.

The tournament delivered exciting cricket, memorable moments, and stronger bonds across our club community — a perfect reflection of SPL’s mission to combine sport, family, and belonging.
