The Multicultural Tournament 2025 brought together 8 teams representing diverse cultural communities across Calgary for a vibrant weekend of cricket and connection.
With 120+ players and families participating, the tournament created meaningful opportunities for cross-cultural interaction both on and off the field. Teams proudly reflected Calgary’s multicultural fabric, while matches showcased sportsmanship, friendly competition, and shared passion for the game.
Beyond the cricket, the event strengthened community bonds and celebrated diversity through sport – reinforcing SPL’s commitment to inclusion, belonging, and community building across cultures.
