From weekend games to 184 members strong - Silverado Sports Association champions multi-sport excellence in Calgary.

History

The Silverado Sports Association was founded in 2018 by a group of cricket enthusiasts in Calgary. Initially, we met on weekends to play casual cricket with a hard tennis ball, a safer and more accessible alternative to professional cricket. Over the years, our community has grown, and in 2024, we officially became a non-profit sports organization.

Mission

Our mission is to foster community spirit through sporting events, promote cricket among youth, and provide a safe and supportive space for all members. We also use our expertise to help other non-profit organizations organize sports events. We are an inclusive community where everyone is welcome to join and participate.
